Your Pump In, Your Pump Out

Over the life of a power steering pump, components can wear or prolonged heat issues can reduce the pump’s ability to function properly. Our pump rebuilding service will pinpoint issues with your current pump and repair necessary components to get it working normally again. We don’t re-manufacture or mass-produce rebuilt products.

Most OEM pumps can be upgraded from their factory configuration to be suitable for high performance use. Most LT1 pumps, LS pumps, truck pumps, race pumps, and others can be serviced and rebuilt. Some replica pumps however may not serviceable due to different internal component specs and part availability. If you are unsure whether your pump is serviceable, please contact us prior to shipping your part.

Our rebuilding service includes inspecting and cleaning every component, replacing every seal, and dyno testing after the rebuild is complete to ensure your pump is performing at its peak potential.

Turn One performs individual pump rebuilds. We are not a bulk remanufacturer and we don’t stock any rebuilt products. Our philosophy is simple: the product you send us is the product you get back (unless it has enough issues to warrant sourcing a new pump core or buying a new pump).

Base Costs

Standard Rebuild
Starts at $200
The standard rebuild maintains your factory internals and factory pump settings. If you’re happy with your current pump, this is a great way to simply breathe new life into your pump to make sure it is functioning top-notch and will power your steering for many more miles. The Standard Rebuild applies to GM P pumps, or any other pump that is not a GM Type II pump.

Why the “starts at” cost?
The final cost can’t be determined until we actually have the pump apart to inspect all the internal components. Obviously, some pumps may require new hard parts due to wear, pitting, or failure. We reuse as many components as we can to keep your costs down. Ultimately, we care about the quality and performance of your pump, so replacement parts may be required, which will affect the final cost of your rebuild.

Expedited Service
$200
We understand that sometimes you need your rebuild done, and fast. We offer expedited services, which moves your steering pump to the top of our rebuild priority, so it’s worked on quicker. While this does prioritize the rebuild, we cannot guarantee a specific turnaround. Keep in mind that if the pump needs additional work or replacement parts, it will add time to the rebuild process.

Turnaround Times

We do our best to process, test, inspect and rebuild your pump as quickly as possible while maintaining quality standards throughout the process. Obviously, lead times can vary based the individual build requirements and unexpected factors such as random influxes in the quantity of rebuilds. For GM P-pumps and Type II pumps that don’t need unexpected replacements parts or work , our turnaround is typically within 1-2 weeks.
