Our Rebuild Philosophy
We rebuild your component, the right way. We do not core swap or sell pre-rebuild parts. We put extra time and attention into every rebuild, and only use factory-grade replacement seals. We don’t cut corners. This is why customers trust Turn One for their rebuild needs.
Our Rebuild Process
Your component is only worked on by professionals with years of experience in power steering. Every part gets fully disassembled and cleaned, so that components can be thoroughly examined. After cleaning and initial inspection, your part goes to assembly, where it goes through a second inspection. During this phase, all hard sealing surfaces are polished before being assembled with brand new factory-grade seals. Once the part is initially assembled, it gets function-tested on our dynomometer, where it must meet several requirements (depending on the part) in order to pass. Any issues identified in dyno testing get immediately addresses and fixed. Parts that pass are ready for final assembly and shipping.
Steering Box Rebuilds
We are experts in Saginaw steering boxes found on most GM vehicles. While these boxes were built to be tough, after years of use it’s common for boxes to wear out, develop leaks, or be damaged in a crash. Turn One can service these boxes and bring them back to life!
Rack and Pinion Rebuilds
Turn One’s rack and pinion rebuilding service is the most comprehensive rebuilding service available. With over 60 years of combined experience, we know how to properly rebuild a large variety of racks, including domestics, imports, exotics, and those used in race cars.
Steering Pump Rebuilds
Over the life of a power steering pump, components can wear or prolonged heat issues can reduce the pump’s ability to function properly. Our pump rebuilding service will pinpoint issues with your current pump and repair necessary components to get it working normally again.
