Description

Description

The HP2 Series universal mount power steering pump offers additional customization options for your race car, restomod, or hot rod. Starting with true GM Type 2 OEM pumps, we modify the internals to perform better, reducing fluid temperatures and saving engine horsepower. All Turn One power steering pumps are 100% new and hand-built in the USA, then individually dyno tested to ensure top quality and performance. This pump requires a remote power steering reservoir.

The flow rate can be adjusted on all HP2 series pumps to make them compatible in most applications. Please contact a Turn One representative for the proper flow rate and part number.

HP2 series pumps offer a driveshaft upgrade for supercharger applications. The upgrade is required when a power steering pump is run on the same belt as the supercharger with a 6-rib belt or bigger. Factory supercharger applications (such as the LSA) do not require the upgrade. The upgrade should also be considered if using a manual tensioner with or without a supercharger.

The HP2 Universal pumps come standard with a 3.0 gpm flow rate, 1800 PSI pressure capacity, and an AN-10 inlet on pumps without reservoirs. They are designed to work with advanced front suspension setups, wide or slick tires, and heavy autocross, road course, or drift use. The HP2 series pumps can be used with a hydroboost system in a track application. If there is any question about the fitment of these pumps, please contact a Turn One representative.
