Description
The HP2 Series universal mount power steering pump offers additional customization options for your race car, restomod, or hot rod. A bottom outlet for high pressure line is sometimes necessary depending on the accessory drive configuration, and can also be used to help with hose clearance in certain applications. Starting with true GM Type 2 OEM pumps, we modify the internals to perform better, reducing fluid temperatures and saving engine horsepower to operate the pump. All Turn One power steering pumps are 100% new and hand-built in the USA, then individually dyno tested to ensure top quality and performance before being installed in your vehicle. This pump must be used in conjunction with a remote power steering reservoir.
Turn One’s exclusive driveshaft safety upgrade is highly recommended for supercharger applications. The extreme torque that many engine and supercharger combinations put on the accessory drive can, in rare cases, cause the driveshaft to traverse from the driveshaft bearing causing immediate pump failure. Our safety upgrade on the driveshaft ensures that this cannot happen, protecting your pump, engine, and vehicle from potential damage.
