Description

Description

ATTENTION: Reverse rotation Type 2 power steering pumps require a unique build process. We NEED your existing pump core for specific reverse rotation internal components. We take these necessary components and put them in a brand new housing with all other new components, making a 95% new pump that can then be customized and upgraded for improved performance.

Our HP1 Series upgrade is ideal for a car that will see high rpms or light track use. We modify key internal components to improve the pump’s efficiency, which reduces fluid temperatures and saves horsepower necessary to spin the pump. This makes the pump better suited to handle harder driving. Our products are built in the USA and individually dyno tested to ensure top quality and performance before being shipped.

Reverse Rotation HP1 Pump Highlights:

+ Bolt-on replacement upgrade
+ Reduced horsepower consumption
+ Reduced fluid temperatures
+ 1500 psi pressure capacity (what is pressure capacity?)
+ Comes with factory flow rate
+ Uses your factory return tube
+ Lightweight aluminum housing

*If you are unsure if your pump is reverse rotation, you can easily visually check the power steering pulley. A reverse rotation pulley is spun by the backside of the serpentine belt and is therfore smooth, with very tiny grooves. A normal rotation pump has standard deep v-grooves.
