Turn One’s performance power steering pumps are designed to fix these issues at their core. We use a custom-build GM Type 2 power steering pump which operates more efficiently and is tuned to handle the harder driving you want to do. The best part – our pump is a bolt-in upgrade to your factory SRT8 pump! Our HP2 pump is similar to a “Stage 2” upgrade, and is recommended for SRT8-equipped cars running wider than stock tires, front downforce, or seeing track/autocross driving conditions. All Turn One pumps are build in the USA and individually dyno tested to ensure top-quality performance before the pump ships.
Turn One’s exclusive driveshaft safety upgrade is highly recommended for supercharger applications that are running on the same belt as the power steering pump. The added belt load, combined with high torque can, in rare cases, cause the driveshaft to traverse from the driveshaft bearing causing immediate pump failure. Our safety upgrade on the driveshaft ensures that this cannot happen, protecting your pump, engine, and vehicle from potential damage.
