This flow restrictor is for GM Type 2 power steering pumps commonly found in later model GM vehicles and aftermarket accessory drive kits. The restrictor fitting uses the stock GM o-ring hose connection and is precision CNC-machined in the USA at our factory in Michigan. Our flow restrictors come standard with 1.3, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 GPM flow rate options for a wide variety of steering gear applications. A properly matched flow rate between the power steering pump and steering gear improves driver feel, road feedback, and steering sensitivity.
