This flow restrictor is for Saginaw P-style steering pumps commonly called “canned ham” pumps or Type 1 pumps. This is also compatible with N-style pumps, which are P pumps that use a remote reservoir. Turn One restrictor fittings are precision CNC-machined in the USA at our factory in Michigan. Our flow restrictors come standard with 1.3, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 GPM flow rate options for a wide variety of steering gear applications. Additional flow rates are available if needed; please call to order. A properly matched flow rate between the power steering pump and steering gear improves driver feel, road feedback, and steering sensitivity.
